The Sudbury Police Department and the Joseph Warren-Soley Masonic Lodge in Lincoln will jointly conduct a Child Identification Program at the Sudbury Day festivities from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 4th, 2009 at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. The Masonic CHIP Program provides parents with identifying items about their children, free of charge, to include; fingerprints, tooth impressions, DNA swabs and videotaped interviews.
These invaluable identifiers could be provided to authorities during an unfortunate incident where a child was reported missing.
Fingerprinting will be done by the Sudbury Police Department with the dental impressions and DNA swabs being performed by Dr. Steven D. Cohen of Sudbury. Additionally, volunteers from the Joseph Warren-Soley Masonic Lodge will be conducting an interview with each child while videotaping them.
